 Let the Grind Begin

100 followers and counting!

Go West Coffee Company is off to a great start! In just one month we gained over 100 loyal followers and our coffee has shipped to six states. This achievement is a testament to your support in helping share the word.

How We Started

Coffee was once just something to drink in the morning, but that all changed when I decided to start drinking black coffee. That first cup of black coffee must not have been enjoyable because it sparked a relentless pursuit to find a better coffee from that point forward. My quest led me to purchase a grinder, pour-over equipment, and eventually my own coffee roaster. I never imagined that these steps would pave the way for the creation of Go West Coffee Company.

Lessons Learned

Here are a few lessons I’ve learned on this journey.

  1. There is no shortage of good coffee out there.
  2. Fresh ground beans are the foundation for a good cup of coffee.
  3. Roasting coffee indoors in a skillet? Let’s just say the smoke detectors had a few choice words for me. Those early days of learning to roast are memorable.

Giving Back, One Bag at a Time

Although crafting exceptional coffee is the driving force, Go West Coffee Company is also committed to making a positive impact. In the first quarter we donated a portion of sales as unrestricted funds to Camp Hope and We Defy Foundation, two organizations improving the lives of veterans. We are honored that you have helped us support these causes and we look forward to expanding our efforts in the future. If you have any non-profit organizations that are close to your heart, let us know. Email us at Hello@GoWestCoffeeCompany with suggestions.

Thank You

Finally, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported Go West Coffee Company. Whether you liked our page, purchased a bag, or shared a kind word means a lot to us. We are committed to improving continuously, so we would love to hear your feedback, stories, or even just how the weather is treating you.

Cheers,

West
